with 8 comments

I am pleased to announce that a new issue of The Monad.Reader is now available.

Issue 14 consists of the following three articles:

  • Fun with Morse Code by Heinrich Apfelmus
  • Hieroglyph 2: Purely Functional Information Graphics Revisited by Jefferson Heard
  • Lloyd Allison’s Corecursive Queues: Why Continuations Matter by Leon P Smith

Feel free to browse the source files. You can check out the entire repository using darcs

If you’d like to write something for the next issue of The Monad.Reader, please get in touch. I haven’t fixed the deadline for the next issue just yet. Expect a deadline late 2009.

New blog

with one comment

I’ve decided to set up a new blog for the Monad.Reader.

I’m grateful to the people at haskell.org for hosting the Monad.Reader for the last few years, but I felt that there were a few reasons to make this change. This blog is searchable, provides RSS feeds, enables users to give comments, and is more visible than a page on the Haskell-wiki. I hope you all agree the change is for the better.

I look forward to releasing Issue 14 here shortly.
